There are lots
of local attractions within easy reach of all Skegness holiday parks.
Many people visit the area to enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches at
Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes aswell as the unspoilt sands of
Anderby Creek.
Gibraltar
Point nature reserve spans one thousand acres of beautiful coastal
countryside and stretches down to the mouth of the river Steeping.
It's home to over 200 varieties of birds and also to the protected
natterjack toad. There are a host of picturesque market towns and
villages throughout Lincolnshire which can be reached via a short
drive from most parks.

Getting
to your Holiday Park in Skegness
Skegness is
easy to reach by road. Follw the A158 (from Lincoln and the North
West), A16 (from Louth and the North) or A52 (from Boston and the south).
Skegness also
has good public transport links. The railway station is run by East
Midlands Trains with direct journeys available to Grantham
(approximately 1.5 hours) and Nottingham (approximately 2 hours).
There are connections to London from Grantham.
There is a
good local bus service with connections to most other parts of England.

If you wish to
venture into Skegness town centre, you will find a good selection of
restaurants, pubs and fast food outlets. As well as the more
traditional English fayre available, there are also Indian, Chinese
and Italian restaurants located in Lumley Road and Roman Bank.
Skegness hosts
Europes largest indoor market during the summer months. Ingoldmills
market boasts over 500 stalls offering a huge variety of products at
discounted prices.
There are
several golf courses within a few miles of all Skegness holiday
parks. These include North Shore Golf Club, Seacroft Golf Club,
Addlethorpe Golf & Country Club, Elms Golf Centre and Sandilands
Golf Club.
There are two
launderettes located in Roman Bank. A cinema is located in Lumley
Road. A theatre and bowling centre is located in Grand Parade.
Skegness
stadium hosts oval track stock car racing and other car events
regularly throughout the summer months. It is located in Marsh Lane,
near the village of Orby.
Skegness
hospital is located in Dorothy Avenue whilst there are several
dentists located on Algitha Road.
